Empower Your Parenting Journey: VIRTUAL Gathering for Parents of Young Kids

This is a meeting space for parents (individuals and couples welcome) of young kids, ages 0-6 years. All gatherings are held virtually to best accommodate childcare and busy family schedules.

What happens in the event:
We will gather for 1.5 hours in a small, supportive circle of parents of young kids, ages 0-6 years. Together, we will explore things like: behavior, development, emotional regulation, caregiver stress & self-care, and connection.
- A brief check-in
- Education, practical tools, and parenting strategies focused on the week’s theme (e.g., routines, behavior, boundaries, emotional regulation)
- Open discussion and sharing with other parents, guided by the therapist
- Time for Q&A, feedback, and problem-solving around real-life parenting challenges
- Stress management and self-care practices you can use at home
- A closing reflection to help integrate what you’ve learned into daily parenting

About the facilitator: Carrie Yellin, MA, LLC, LLMFT is an individual, marriage, couple, and family counselor, who is also the mom to a young kid! She takes a gentle, solution-oriented approach to both therapy and parenting and gets excited about discussing everything from toilet training to “why doesn’t my child ever listen?!”
